Most training programmes are built around a template. A generic eight-week plan that looks the same for a 32-year-old athlete and a 68-year-old with a replaced hip. Forge Conditioning doesn't work that way.
Every programme Ben designs starts with a movement assessment, a conversation, and the understanding that you are a person with a history, a goal, and a life that training needs to fit. That is why Semi-Private Personal Training has become the heart of Forge: your own individual programme, coached in person alongside a small group, so this depth of attention stays within reach.
Ben has been coaching for over eleven years. He holds a first-class honours degree in Sports and Exercise Science from Lancaster University and is a Certified Conditioning Coach. He has coached hundreds of individuals across every age, background, and starting point. What every single one of them has in common is this: he took the time to understand them first.

Ben Law moved to the UK from the US in 2015 and started coaching at commercial gyms in Chorley and Lancaster. He went back to university while coaching full-time, graduating with first-class honours in Sports and Exercise Science from Lancaster University in 2021, then started Forge Conditioning in 2022.
When Ben is not coaching, he is in his workshop. He says the skills transfer, he loves to design, prepare, and see it come together in the end.
I've been fortunate to work with personal trainers in the USA, France, the Netherlands and here in the UK and Ben is by far the very best. Each session is put together with your own goals in mind, along with his valuable advice. I always look forward to our sessions and am so glad they are in Lancaster.
